April 6, 12 pm – Maundy Thursday: A brief service of holy communion along with a foot washing service. It was on Maundy Thursday that Jesus instituted the sacrament of Holy Communion and washed his disciples’ feet.
April 6, 7:30 pm – Maundy Thursday: As Jesus celebrated the Passover meal with his disciples and instituted the Lord’s supper, he demonstrated humility and love by washing his disciples’ feet, taking the place of a servant. Come before worship (beginning at 6:45 pm) or stay afterward to participate in a foot-washing experience in the Fellowship Hall. Just as Jesus prayed in the garden of Gethsemane, the sanctuary will remain open for prayer after worship.
April 7, 7:30 pm – Good Friday: Service of Darkness – on Good Friday, He took our sins upon Himself and gave His life for ours.
April 8, 7:30 pm, Easter Vigil-Saturday: On Saturday at the Easter Vigil, even as Christ was buried in the tomb we remember our Baptisms and the promises of God for us.
