What is OSLC doing? We are all praying and remembering that God is on this journey with us and will not leave us or forsake us. We can trust in Him and know His peace. In addition:
- Please know that we are live-streaming and recording our worship services including Wednesday Lenten Worship. That link is http://oursaviorlutheranchurch.yourstreamlive.com.
- We are discouraging people from using the building because Open Arms (OA) is still operating and we want to do everything we can to keep our children and staff safe and healthy. OA is being very vigilant and requests no one enter the Open Arms side of the building unless it is absolutely necessary.
- Most of our church staff is working remotely and checking emails and texts.
- Our Elders are identifying and reaching out to our non-email reading members especially elderly singles.
- We are also developing online resources for Bible Study, virtual small groups etc.
- If you are in need of spiritual care, someone to bring you groceries, or medicine, etc please reply to this email or contact our head Elder, Rene Stein.
- We are trying to keep our OSLC Website https://oslclaurel.org and our two Facebook pages (public: “Our Savior Lutheran Church of Laurel Maryland” and private: “OSLC”) pages up to date with tips and information. There are multiple “OSLC” groups on Facebook, so it can be confusing. You must be invited by or approved by an administrator in order to join our private Facebook Group. If you are not already in this group and would like to be, please contact tina@oslclaurel.org)
