Role on Team (basic job description): Coordinate, rehearse, supervise/direct all musical ensembles of the church, as appropriate. Assist the pastor(s) in planning the congregational services of the church.

Where did you grow up, or where are you originally from?: Barranquilla, Colombia. 

What can you tell us about your immediate family: My wife’s name is Melissa and we have a son named Owen.

What do you enjoy about your work?: Getting to do what I’m passionate about – Reinforcing Christian principles through music! 

Something unique about me is: that I have a strong love for bananas & plantains.

What are your hobbies?: Basketball, Volleyball, Ping Pong, Mountain Biking, Hiking, Reading, Composing.

What is your favorite Bible Verse/Book of the Bible, and why?: I don’t have an all-time favorite Bible verse. However, I’ve been for awhile loving Psalms 18:2. It is a verse that keeps recurring in my devotional life since I came to America and has helped me to overcome trials. I don’t think I have a favorite Book of the Bible either; although I like the Book of James a lot – I appreciate its wise and practical sense of the Gospel.
