Josh joined the staff of Our Savior in May of 2020 after graduating with a Master of Divinity (M.Div.) from Concordia Seminary in St. Louis, MO. He is excited to serve the people at Our Savior and the surrounding community.
With three Pastors at Our Savior, what are your primary areas of ministry?
While I do many other things as a Pastor, my primary responsibilities at Our Savior are Discipleship and Outreach. This means I focus on encouraging and growing people’s faith in the church while also helping to find new ways to connect with and share that growing faith with people who don’t yet know the love of Jesus.
Where are you from originally?
I was born and raised south of Seattle, WA, but I have lived all over the country.
Tell us a little about your family?
At the risk of sounding cheesy, I can honestly say that I am married to my best friend, Christina, since 2006. We have four kids, Bryten, Emmitt, Caleb, and Maisie. We added to the craziness with a Belgian Malinois named Evee. The best way to describe my family is busy, constantly full of laughter and rambunctiousness.
What are your favorite books in the Bible?
Can I say all of them? I didn’t think so.
Old Testament: Judges
New Testament: Romans
Share something unique about yourself?
I am a retired United States Marine with a Purple Heart.
Do you have any hobbies?
I enjoy watching and playing sports, namely basketball and football. Go Hawks!
