We need to make choices many times a day. What clothes to wear? What’s for lunch? Which route to take to my destination? Most choices like these are not too consequential. But career choices, friendship choices, marriage choices, are very important. Most important is our answer to God’s call on our life. Jesus lovingly warned us that HE is “the fork in the road.”
Do we genuinely follow Jesus or choose a less committed path? To choose a faithful commitment to Jesus may cost us something. Relationships with friends, family and work associates may be stressed if we truly honor Jesus and adhere to God’s Word.
Let us consider Jesus’ call to follow HIM. He also has good news for us who have too often made some bad choices.
