In the Gospel of Matthew, Jesus says that God lets the sun shine on the just and the unjust. Why is God’s mercy non-partisan? God keeps loving people, giving them again and again the opportunity to repent and turn to Him. Consider how God calls us to radical merciful living. Consider how this applies to “love your enemies,” and “turn the other cheek.”
