A sermon based on Luke 21:5-28, Rev. J. Orlando Flahn
Do you know what the next significant event on God’s agenda for our world is? It’s the second coming of Jesus Christ! At Christmas, He came to us in the flesh for the first time to die and save us. However, He will return to this earth not as a child, but as a King to rule. Jesus says, “Then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.” (v 27).
In this Sunday’s Gospel lesson, Jesus warns us about specific signs that will precede His return and offers guidance on how we can prepare for it.
