Jesus said to his disciples, “feed my sheep.” When we hear God’s call to feed his sheep and we respond to people’s physical needs, we are demonstrating God’s love for his sheep.

Quilting

“You have, no doubt, heard about the explosion in Beirut, Lebanon. We have been informed by Lutheran World Relief that three shipping containers containing 47,000 items – quilts, school kits, baby kits, etc., – were blown up. These were meant to go to people in need in several countries in that part of the world, particularly refugee camps. We urge anyone able to participate in a quilting workshop to consider joining us. Unfortunately, our supply of fabric has run out, so if any of you have fabric, of any size, that could be used for quilting and would like to make a donation, it would be appreciated. You can drop it off in the church. More details will follow.” – Ellie Ramsay
