Disaster response training conference
Event Overview
Join us at the Disaster Response Training Conference in Myrtle Beach, SC, from February 5–7. This event offers valuable opportunities to learn about the updated Basic LERT Training program, discover strategies for preparedness before a disaster strikes, and explore the many ways individuals, congregations, or classrooms can contribute during disaster situations.
Participants are invited to take part in a round-table discussion focused on lessons learned during Hurricane Helene Recovery. Additionally, there will be hands-on field training sessions covering chain saw work, “Stop the Bleed” skills, tarping, and tractor and skid steer operations.
Enjoy the beauty of Myrtle Beach in the winter and connect with others who share a passion for serving communities in times of disaster.
Registration Information
- Through November 30: $80 for individuals, $100 for families
- After December 1: $100 for individuals, $120 for families
- Conference registration includes the Thursday evening meal.
